The Projects page is where you configure (attach, detach) projects to your organization, and provide more detail on interorganizational collaboration (leader, collaborator). It is also where you may view the 'sunburst diagram' on the benefits allocation of the entire project portfolio that is linked to the organization.
Projects as Leading Company
The first section prompts for project as leading company. This is asking which projects belong to your organization. Note the pagination for when the list of projects is long. Here you can detach a project from your organization. Detaching a project breaks the association of the project to the company, which removes the project from the organization's portfolio. The project will still show up in the project list of all those individuals associated with it. Attaching is the opposite, meaning that the project will appear in the list and be included in all portfolio-level reporting. The only reason not to attach a project to your organization is because its existence is confidential; the details within the project will always adhere to the viewing privileges.
Invite users from other (HR Mgmt) company to create their project as leading company. Once done, you cannot detach another company that is leading, you can detach a contributor.
Projects as Contributing Company
The second section prompts for projects as contributing company. This is asking which projects your organization is involved with but does not own. Consulting firms, for example, would likely have a contributing company list much larger than the leading company list. There is no limit to the number of contributing companies on any project.
All companies are provided with a unique token for the purposes of joining the project of another organization. To join a company as a contributor, copy your token and provide this to the leading organization so they can add your organization to the project.
Portfolio Benefits Viewer
TCP includes a sunburst on this page that is specific to your projects. Each concentric circle represents 100%. The inner circle represents all the projects. The outer circle represents all the Business Units.
