Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
Business continuity planning (BCP) is prudent to ensure the continued operation of any resource, department or service under all conditions. Some organizations have BCP completed for their operations, in which case redundant BCP in TCP isn't needed. For all others, this deliverable can provide the template needed to house your BCPs.
For each asset that is important enough to ensure continuity, create a BCP that is actionable with governance fully clarified. Many guides explain how to do this effectively.
Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
While BCP focuses on resuming operations by whatever means necessary (and is often temporary in nature), disaster recovery planning (DRP) focuses restoring operations to their stable, sustainable state (and is often permanent in nature).
Projects tend not be get overly in-depth in DRP, but long-running projects, for example, can if it is within their mandate.
For BCP and DRP, populate the Activity field with all the activities within the BCP/DRP. Attach additional documents where necessary.
