Tolerances define boundaries for projects that manage by exception. Specifically, their stoplight colour scheme informs stakeholders, at-a-glance, how the project is faring against the tolerance.
- The flag tolerance provides the first indication that project variance is occurring. If the flag tolerance is achieved or exceeded, that tolerance is marked as yellow.
- The halt tolerance ceases project activity when it is achieved or exceeded, at which point the tolerance is marked as red.
Both flag and halt values can be adjusted by dragging the corresponding slider:
To view the settings history of any tolerance, click the entity history icon that corresponds to the desired flag.
